Teamwork makes Dreams Work

Teams of young children from Queen's College recently participated in an enterprising challenge, supported by the Rotary of Club of Taunton. With just £2 each, small teams gathered together to see who could create the most enterprising idea to raise the most money for charity. The children raised  £1,109 for the League of Friends Bed Appeal with projects which included car washing and baking to name but a few.

In their presentation to the Rotary Club, the Queen's Junior School children astounded and delighted members with their confidence, initiative,   business skills and depth of learning derived from these activities. When asked what they had learnt from the experience, one young girl answered swiftly, 'We learnt quite quickly that Teamwork will make Dreams work'.
